Closing Sale, Returns & Refund Policy

Closing Sale / Final Clearance

Products identified on the Site as part of a Closing Sale, Final Clearance, liquidation or similar limited-stock promotion are offered while remaining inventory lasts and may not be restocked. BAREWAY does not offer a voluntary return or exchange for change of mind, incorrect size, incorrect colour or personal preference except where mandatory consumer law provides a right to cancel, return, repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

No wording such as “final sale”, “clearance”, “closing sale” or “no restock” limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

EU and EEA Consumers

Where applicable consumer law provides a statutory withdrawal right for distance sales, you may withdraw from an eligible online purchase within 14 days of the day you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. No reason is required. Send an unequivocal statement to contact@bareway.com before the withdrawal period expires.

For a valid statutory withdrawal, we will refund the price paid and, where required by law, the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the original order. Extra delivery costs for a premium method are not refundable unless required by law. For a change-of-mind withdrawal, the customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods where permitted and properly disclosed by law.

You may inspect and try on footwear only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and fit. Where permitted by law, a refund may be reduced for diminished value caused by handling beyond what would reasonably be allowed in a physical shop, such as wearing footwear outdoors.

United Kingdom Consumers

UK customers purchasing at a distance may cancel an eligible order within 14 days after receiving the goods and, after notifying us, return the goods within the applicable statutory period, normally a further 14 days. Where required by UK law, we will refund the price paid and the basic standard delivery cost. The customer is responsible for the direct cost of a change-of-mind return unless we state otherwise or the law requires us to bear it.

Switzerland

Swiss law does not provide a general statutory right to change your mind and return an ordinary online purchase. Accordingly, Closing Sale and Final Clearance items are generally final sale for non-defective goods in Switzerland unless BAREWAY expressly offers a voluntary return right or mandatory law provides otherwise. Statutory rights relating to defective goods and applicable warranty periods remain unaffected.

Other European Countries

For customers in European countries outside the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, mandatory consumer rights applicable to the purchase prevail over conflicting terms in this policy. Where local law grants a mandatory cooling-off or withdrawal period, BAREWAY will honour the minimum required by that law.

Defective, Damaged, Incorrect or Non-Conforming Goods

Closing Sale status does not reduce legal rights where an item is defective, damaged in transit, materially different from its description or incorrect. Contact contact@bareway.com as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and a description of the issue.

Depending on applicable law and circumstances, remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. Where the law requires, remedies will be provided free of charge, including reasonable necessary return shipping.

Exchanges During the Closing Sale

Because stock is limited and may not be replenished, BAREWAY does not guarantee size or colour exchanges. Where you have a mandatory right to return, you may return the item under the applicable legal process and place a new order if the desired replacement remains available.

Currency and Refunds

The currency shown and confirmed at checkout for your market is the transaction currency for your order. Where market-specific or local currencies are enabled through Shopify Markets and Shopify Payments, prices may be converted from the store’s underlying pricing currency using the applicable Shopify exchange-rate configuration.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and, where supported by the payment processor, in the original transaction currency. Currency-conversion values in BAREWAY’s payout currency may differ between the original purchase date and refund date without changing the customer-facing refund amount required by applicable law.

Refund Timing

For statutory withdrawals and other approved refunds, reimbursement will be made within the legally required timeframe. Where permitted by law, reimbursement may be withheld until the goods are received or evidence of return is supplied.
